The City and Borough of Wrangell is committed to planning for and providing the best possible emergency planning and response. We are currently undertaking revisions to two major plans: The Emergency Operations Plan (EOP) and Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP). As part of this effort we have developed this website to provide for community outreach and education. Public participation and feedback are vital components of the emergency planning process. The City and Borough of Wrangell has developed the Community Input Survey to provide residents an opportunity to contribute to the development of our emergency plans. This anonymous survey will help inform key sections of both the Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) and the Emergency Operations Plan (EOP), ensuring they reflect the community’s unique needs and priorities.
